History
1887 Lindenhof was build, 1901
the pub is established. Dark tasty draught is brewed in the
cellar.
1918 Hansmann Ltd. established a distillery.
We still serve this caraway licquor ›Jochen Bandrieter‹
at Lindenhof.
After the first World War Lindenhof became
a popular daytrip spot for people from Hamburg arriving by
train or ship.
In the late 40s Lindenhof became popular
with the people from Geesthacht again and housed regular danses
and festive events.
In the 50s the first guestrooms were build.
In the 60s and 70s due to changing tenants
the Lindenhof became less popular.
1979 Monika Pippirs took over and reestablished
Lindenhof as a well-reknowned Hotel.
1991 under the management of her daughter
Eve Pippirs the pub was elegantly redesigned and insures now
friendly and high level of service.
Beginning 2003 Eve Pippirs realized a longstanding
dream: The Brasserie Lindenhof with a small but excelent menue
offering great value. |
